Drop-In Bedliners
Drop-In Bedliners
Drop-in bedliners, also known as over-rail drop in bedliners, are comprised of large pieces of hard plastic that slide into the back of your truck.

Benefits of a Drop-In Bedliner
They’re generally easy to install. Depending on your truck model, however, the bedliner can slide underneath the top of the bed rails, while other models feature an over-the-rail design.
Problems with Drop-In Bedliners
Most drop-in bedliners are not fully custom-fit to your vehicle. While they still protect your truck bed from most dents, a poorly fitting drop-in bedliner can rub the paint off of your truck bed and cause it to rust. Be very cautious before choosing a drop in bedliner, as the plastic can rub off the paint finish on the top of your bed, which can lead to scratches and rust on the outside of your truck bed.
Other factors to consider:
The hard plastic makes it very easy for your cargo to slide around in the truck. The last thing you want is heavy cargo, like a toolbox or machinery, slamming into the front of your truck when you have to make an abrupt stop. Drop-in bedliners don’t often offer full access to your truck’s tie-downs. If you want to purchase a drop-in bedliner, you’re going to have to find a dealer. Unlike DualLiner bedliners, drop-in bedliners are made from one big of plastic, which is generally too large to ship. DualLiner bed liners ship free to your home.
Drop-In Bedliners or DualLiner?
It really depends on your personal preference. Of course we highly recommend you check out a DualLiner bedliner, which offers custom fit side-walls made just for your truck model and a ZeroSkid® rubber floor mat.
